How to change the settings in Windows Explorer

 

  1. Right click the start menu, left click “explore”
  2. On the “Menu Bar” left click “View”, left click “Details”

 

 

  1. On the “Menu Bar” left click “Tools”, left click “Folder Options…”

 

 

  1. Left click the “View” tab

 

 

  1. Check and uncheck to match the above Folder Options window. When you uncheck “Hide protected files……..” you will get a warning  message, click ok anyway.
  2. Left click “Apply to All Folders” then OK.
